“Dolls” is a playful series of cartoon-style portraits inspired by real people who have touched my life with their humor, uniqueness, and authenticity. Each piece is hand-painted on egg shell, a delicate and symbolic material that represents rebirth, fragility, and innocence.
The first doll is Lina — my 75-year-old landlady with the energy of a teenager. She woke me up every morning to do sports, pushed my limits, and made me feel alive, annoyed, and cared for at the same time. Her vibrant spirit sparked the creation of this entire collection.
