Hand-painted on cardboard
AlejandroX is part of the “Dolls” collection, a series of cartoon-style portraits that celebrate authenticity and the freedom to express who you truly are. This piece was inspired by an unexpected connection: a construction supplier I only knew over the phone. I trusted him immediately, and one night he began sending me photos of himself dressed in the way he genuinely wanted to be seen.
His intensity, spontaneity, and obsessive energy revealed something deeply human—a search for affection, acceptance, and a safe space to exist without judgment. In him, I saw a child still longing to be loved exactly as he is.
AlejandroX embodies the courage to break stereotypes and embrace your identity with honesty and pride. It is a reminder that self-love, expression, and personal freedom are essential, no matter your background, appearance, or preferences.
This artwork is hand-painted on simple cardboard, a material that reflects childhood creativity and the power of turning something ordinary into a meaningful piece of art.
